We had about 1m cut and 1m fill to flatten out the site, piering came in at 111m, they had estimated 60 plus 40 in allowances so we paid an additional 11 over contract. Our biggest issues was the piering through the fill is greater due to soft soil, so for the entire fill area it's artificially longer piers, some 3.5 metres deep !
